That is not going to happen. That came from the euro run from earlier today which was showing a slower storm and making landfall further west near Brownsville which is not going to happen.

The only "reliable source" right now would be God himself/Mother Nature herself.

In any case, that "lady" sounds like a complete loser to me.

With that big of a pressure drop, it might take the winds a bit to catch up but I'd say a hurricane is the most likely outcome at this point, whether it weakens before landfall or not remains to be seen.

I actually just saw her facebook feeds and this lady is misinformation machine not trustworthy at all.

Never said it’s an actual eye, but it’s an eye-like feature. Look at the link I posted. This feature might be more pronounced in the coming hours. Watching closely.
