Are you saying cold might be coming?

The cold left Alaska and sitting right in the backyard. Or should I say 'dammed' up right behind his wall. It is creaking. Is what he's saying. He is quickly putting up a make-shift earthen dam around the 45th parallel to thwart it.

So what are you saying exactly? Delaying and problem. Not sure I understand your post. So we are not going to 8?

If it gets to phase 8 it will be much later than what the GFS was showing a few days ago, so will be the frigid cold air.

They did set all-time record highs this past summer. It’s the League of Shadows at work. Balance.

I've been thinking that this is a Modoki La Nina, we've not had one in a long while.

It just won’t come south. After a couple of teases, it’s back to sticking its tongue out at us again.

0z GFS shows a slight cold snap around the same time the Euro members show snow here…makes you think a little. Brighter times ahead? Who knows.

Definitely raises my interest here for sure. It's been pretty consistent in trying to show something in early January and to still see it there

Actually have a subfreezing high up here this run :cold:

For what it's worth the TWC app has temps progressively falling after NYE same in Dallas and even Houston somewhat so there seems to be some support for it

Maybe when Hudson Bay is completely frozen, we'll receive some long, Canadian, cold, frozen lake breezes. Reaching for anything at this point.
