Probably one of the pro mets who specialize in operational forecasting. Would be a good experience to get to know an operational forecaster (yes, I do forecasting, but it is more for research purposes) to see the differences between operational forecasting and research work, as I do (I do not have many operational contacts, most of mine are researchers)

(Bodkin Devilfish), lake-effect, and whoever Guard Dog is in Chat...if I missed anyone, please take NO offense; my poor brain can only assimilate so much at any time.

I'd have to meet with you all in groups of five (six, counting myself and Annabelle [she be a ho']), as that's the largest group I can handle at one sitting...a S2K reunion would be IDEAL for this! (HINT, HINT!) :wink:

Joshua, I don't mind you mentioning Asperger's Syndome (and autism) at all, in fact I appreciate it. At times (like you did above) you mention that you have Asperger's Syndrome, too. I don't believe Eric will mind either, {but of course, I can't speak for him}.

As for the mention of AIM, (YIM, MSN Messenger and/or ICQ)... I would love to correspond with anyone with instant message programs. I don't initiate IMs too often, perhaps the more you [pl.] do; I may.

I have been more fortunate than most. I have met a few of the people here already. Raine and I met in NYC. OHD and Houstonia, and Galvez and I met at the 2003 Hurricane conference here in Houston. Ticka has managed to avoid me despite numerous attempts and one near miss!!LOL!!
BTW, Ticka are we on for this weekend?

May I suggest Cape Girardeau, MO? Centrally located, major university town, LOTS of hotels/motels lining I-55, plenty of shopping and restaurants close by, and only 30 miles away from the streetsoldier!

Now, who can argue with that??? :wink:

Great topic actually...except I can't name just one person. I feel like I have really made some great friends here, some who I have especially gotten close to. There are many of ya'll I'd really like to meet for various reasons as others have said. Some just to whisper in their ear...."vote Bush" -- hehe j/k, that's not the ONLY reason....had to pick on a few of ya'll.

When I joined right after the board opened, I never dreamed I would make friends like I have. I thought I just wanted to discuss weather. :eek:

I really love storm2k and thanks to all the staff and members who make it so wonderful!!

I haved met around 10 members of storm2k here in Puerto Rico but I would like to meet all of you in the US sometime if I go to Florida or Texas as a tourist in the future.Or if we can make a big gettogether in a place that all can go maybe in Florida I suggest we can do that.

Steph...if I'm still conscious after you get through with me, we'll sit down and discuss something like cats....I think we can get into it good.
