Paypal is fastest since it's all electronic, immediate, and you have proof that you paid.

Yup....count me IN on the eBay addiction! I've purchased quite a variety of items there......even seeds and bulbs.......no problems with anything yet. My son has done a lot of selling thru eBay with good results also.

Unfortunately.....my husband "hogs" the computer watching for old Harley parts.....he has quite a collection of older bikes......ARGH! Too much $$$ spent there!........p :wink:

(Streetsoldier.....they DO have items you may be interested in quite often.....one topic reads;
"Collectibles > Knives, Swords & Blades > Folding Knives > Vintage (Pre 1970) > Factory Manufactured > Other")

Just type in whatever you're looking for.....you'll be surprised at what is there!

True. And if you're leery about purchasing online, you can check out the seller's feedback to see what kind of businessperson they are. I do that -- shop for not only an item, but a seller also. :)

I have gotten so many wonderful buys on ebay. Not a mall shopper by nature, I find it much easier to order from home.

Oh my stormy - what did I do??? Words of wisdom - watch your item like a hawk at the very end of the bidding - that's when most jump in and try to get the item.

Have fun.

I have bought and sold hundreds of items on Ebay and have done pretty well IMO. I've taken a few months off from selling because I have been re-doing my "Ebay room" but I'm getting things in order again and will be selling again soon.

streetsoldier I have run across scopes, mags and other type stuff on ebay. So I wouldn't count it out totally.

I'm an eBay addict myself. I was just a buyer for awhile, but once I became familiar with it, I became a seller too. I do it in my spare time and on average make $100-$200 a month. It's always nice to make a little extra cash. You can sell just about anything. You know those awful boots you just had to buy last year (because they were so trendy then) that are just taking up room in the back of your closet? Or that great dress that you bought oh, about 15 lbs ago? LOL. Perfect to sell those things on eBay.

eBay is a shopper's dream come true. Practically everything you can imagine at your fingertips, just a few clicks of the mouse away from being yours... ;)

15 lbs ago Jen? :lol: Good one!! Only lucky me, 15 pounds ago is heavier in my case right now, I've been dropping! :D

I just love to browse ebay, but trust me, I've been thinkin real hard about becoming a seller! (And a buyer! :lol: ) My only thing is, when I need something I forget to look, and when I have time to look I never have anything to look for! :roll: :lol:

Stormy, if you're looking to buy stuff, watch late night! Most people are asleep and you can outbid easy as pie! :D That is how my aunt and cousin do so well on ebay, they get up at 4am!! :lol: I would just stay up that late, course I am a third shift worker so that explains that!
