Low North of Hawaii

#1 Postby InfernoFlameCat » Thu Mar 03, 2022 7:05 pm

This low looks strikingly subtropical. It has a very well defined core with a warm seclusion that had convection surrounding it earlier(now just low level clouds.) The outflow is prominent to the west of the system but it is still strongly attached to a front to its east. Opinions?

This would be named in the Atlantic and maybe the EPAC. But the CPHC does not classify systems that are not sure fire tropical. I believe the JTWC does not classify them either.

Private companies like StormGeo might be classifying this though.

Randomly found this post while looking back and remembered that I had imagery of this cyclone. Thought I was the only one who knew about this
