Looks like the front is through Graham and is approaching Decatur.

Maybe a few pockets of sleet and some flurries across DFW but I wouldn't expect a WWA out of it unless something changes quickly with the trough orientation....better odds far NE TX.

Just not enough moisture...our old friend -PDO and La Nina strike again :x

Latest La Niña advisory now extends La Niña through the summer (53% chance) followed by a 40-50% of ENSO neutral or continuing La Niña thereafter. The hits just keep coming.

Anyone going to lay odds that DFW gets to 100 before June 1?

History says we have the groundworks for a true hot Texas style summer this year.

Only caveat is Canada remaining cool and EPO.

Need the ULL to really overperform and the cold.

Regardless it is going to be a very cold mid March day. High will be after midnight but maxing daytime in the mid 30s is around near records for the time frame (though the 11th itself has the record coldest March high of 25 which looks safe.)

I find the lack of posts disturbing........

I know we are not talking inches but still something it going to fall tomorrow.

Could this be one of those that catches everyone off guard and over performs in real time?

This is not going to be what we hoped for at the start of the week. Rather disappointing but still cold enough to enjoy the fireplace 1 last time

I’m just thankful it’s going to get cold again. Delays the heat and humidity for a few days.

Something doesn’t look right with the HRRR when compared to other guidance…it’s starting to back build west though, this could be a decent sleet/snow event after all

Very surprised that NWS SHV posted a WWA for me in Longview tomorrow evening. The high for tomorrow is 59F lol.

Precipitation starting to fill in, we're gonna see if there's more precipitation than they expected or not.

They finally added Smith and also upped totals a bit. Still a very minor event but most along and north of I-20 will get a short burst of decently heavy snow before precip ends. 30s have made it into northwestern probs of East Texas with 40s for the rest of East Texas. Temps will fall through the day. Main area of precip is still in the TX Panhandle and Oklahoma with drizzle across much of Texas. For the Tyler area expect rain to start around lunch with sleet mixing in more and more as afternoon progress. Transitioning to a band of snow around dinner time.
