I'm still under 2 inches from March 1 to now, so kind of a feast or famine thing. Got .89 tonight, so good rainfall at least.

Mother Nature has a case of the Monday's for NTX. Already under the 15% risk for next Monday......... :(

I have Cub Scouts that night. Any other day would be fine. I'll take the rain, but the hail, wind and tornadoes can stay home.

We're definitely stuck in a pattern. I'll be on my way home from Wichita on Monday, so I might actually do some chasing on this event. It's been too long for me...

I hear you. Most areas west of me received 0 or a trace amount. I was extremely fortunate and received around 0.4 inches yesterday. This year sure reminds me a lot of last year where many areas did not see much rain in the spring until towards the middle and end of the season. I think there is a good chance of seeing a pattern change later this month.

Hot day today across areas that did not receive much rain last night, then strong cold front. DFW is forecasted 89 and daily record high is 89F. Well into the 90s most areas south of I-20 and west of I-35.

How many Tornado Warnings has NWS-DFW issued this year? Someone said that they are way ahead on the number of Tornado Warnings issued compared to the last 20 years.

Lots of power outages in the area south of Tyler last night. One town closed school for day as power was out at all schools. Numerous trees on houses. Line had winds of 80mph.

That is correct. Meanwhile up here it's been pretty quiet so far other than that one tornado in Arkansas last week but I suspect that will be changing soon

It is hot for sure. Got home and immediately cranked the a/c. Luckily the next few days won't require an increase in the electric bill.

Always showing off up there in OKC. :D Always amazing some of the weather differences between San Antonio/Austin, Austin/Dallas, Dallas/OKC, OKC/Wichita and and so forth. I'm so ready for October, it's too hot already!!!

I once had an insane Temperature difference between Tecumseh & OKC a couple weeks ago, it was 53 in OKC compared to 43 in town.

Don't tempt wxman57.....

It's a La Nina Spring/Summer, when it's already in the 90s in DFW, he's likely perfectly fine with that kind of weather.

Now it's Monday and Tuesday with a 15% risk area for DFW.....

Is it looking like major outbreak or just April severe weather?

Still too far out to know for sure. Definitely has potential though. I think we'll have to watch Wed as well, could be a 3 day event for the plains

NWS confirmed 100mph microburst Monday night in Whitehouse. Lots of damage there. Outside of that winds were in the 50s across a wide swath of East Texas and North Louisiana.
