Unless explicitly stated, all info in my posts is based on my own opinions and observations. Tropical storms and hurricanes can be extremely dangerous. Do not think you can beat Mother Nature. Refer to an accredited weather research agency or meteorologist if you need to make serious decisions regarding an approaching storm.

To be fair, its forming about as far east as it can get. Any further west and it would share te fate of 99L, who is destined to roam the central Atlantic forever.

Well this was mostly an insignificant storm, but Hermine ended up causing 33 deaths due to a migrant boat capsizing in the storm. This season has already been deadly.

According to wikipedia, 107 people are missing from this storm. Whether that is true or not remains to be seen. Regardless, this storm was very deadly for a low grade tropical storm. What a terrible situation.
