There's been a burst of convection along the northeast eyewall, roughly from Cape Coral to northwest of Pineland. What is somewhat surprising is that this is occuring over land.

I worry that the back eyewall will be as bad as the front. Since the western eyewall is even stronger right now, there could be a negligible difference between a full-force front eyewall and a slightly weakened back eyewall as it moves onshore
