"The bubble" - a ring of 700 of Mr Bush's own secret service agents - will also surround the president amid fears of terror attacks.

That seems like a lot of agents. I don't know how many usually protect him when he travels but that seem excessive. You don't think they know something and are not telling us.

Beer... yes extra security doesn't surprise me for the Presidents visit, besides a terror threat they are expecting protests . President Bush is not real popular right now in the U.K.:):)

And If Al Qaida dumps a few cargo planes into Westminster Abbey and Buckingham Palace, I suppose that will be GW's fault? Considering that (in case the Brits forgot) they have been Al Qaida's No. 2 target for some time...well before 9-11.

Street, I hear ya :):):).. Talking to a few Brit friends on the internet I have asked them about reports I have read saying President Bush isn't to popular in the U.K.. From what I gather it stems from Britain supporting us in Iraq etc etc.. Blair isn't to popular either and some Brits think Tony Blair is President Bush's lapdog:):).
