Yeah I was expecting something like that to happen. The northern parts much like in Spring is helped by being closer to upper forcing with the seasonal variability moving of the temperature gradient. A set up like this in a favorable background state would be a widespread flooding event 3-5in + for many.

Good thing the low levels are mediocre and there’s not much instability. Otherwise I’d be sweating bullets about that supercell near grapevine

Pouring again.

I’m up to almost 2.50 so good rain after all!

The earlier start definitely helped.

Line is filling in down South but looks like it might not make it all the way to San Antonio.

May be off kilter from this event, but we could have something big in Mid-November if all of the setups are correct.

Don't use my posts as forecast, I'm a complete meteorology noob! I just like cold weather, alright?

Got really windy here before the storms blew in. Wind knocked out power for about 5 seconds. Then it poured for about 15 minutes maybe. Came on fast, left fast!

Made it to the north side of town, which is what most models showed. Hopefully the Friday event can reach areas that missed out on this event.

I ended up with 0.43" at my house. 0.17" from light showers in the evening, then 0.25" from the squall line as it passed through around midnight. I missed the heavier part of the line which was to the south.

Hopefully we can get at least 0.5" on Friday.

0.16" here, barely enough to pause the drying for a few days. Weak sauce down here.
