Jackie I went to eat this evening with my girlfriend and I think the bad mood at work thing was spread across the Midwest. We had terrible service and the waitress was rude, a cook quit while we were waiting on our food, but we were nice and polite and left a tip. I don't know if I will go back there again however.

Well, it is Incredibly early for me, but I am completely exhausted so I think I'll throw on a log and hit the sack! With the snow tomorrow I may not work the whole day, at any rate, I'll be around, good night every one!

I bet you are! Here, cold, cloudy, light snow, low 30's, and get this: my boss told me to come in! Sounds to me like a Monday 3-peat! (I was sent home after an hour of work the last 2 Mondays.) So, you may see me sooner than you think! Have a great day everyone!

When it rains, it pours...

(A) Annabelle getting her left rear knee sprained...(POOR HOOOOOOOO')

(B) Car develops a flat...

(C) Middle stepson in jail for bench warrant, and needing undies and toiletries... :o

All within one hour yesterday. TODAY I have to cover all problems left unable to be addressed last evening...so much for "rest".

Clear and sunny today, temps this early PM in mid-40's.

So sorry many of you have had a funky weekend. I just learned an old co-worker in NH lost her 15 y/o daughter and 17 y/o niece in an auto accident this weekend ... icy roads. Very sad. Maybe instead of TGIF, today we should say TGIM?

I pray for a truckload of good health and joy for you all this week.

I'm seeing the sun for the 1st time in at least 2 weeks. Need to find the shades 8) , my pupils have forgotten how to constrict. Temps still about 10º below our normal high of 50º.

Take care,
Donna

Good afternoon! I can't believe my thermometer. It says 53! Wow. It is so nice outside and the sun is shining. It is a great day here in the Ozarks.

I think this cold I have had the last few days has gotten into my brohnical (spelling?) tubes. Yeesh! It hurts to cough. I may go lie down and rest after I check out the games forum.

Good afternoon! Got home from work a bit ago, I was called in to do the bookkeeping because the weekday bookkeeper was sick, so I only had to work half the day today.

Garrett.... do you live near Camdenton? I have an aunt who lives in Camdenton, haven't made it down to visit yet though!

StreetSoldier- I hope things begin to turn up for you!

I'll be around, have a good one!

*tosses another log into the trusty PBS*

It's a good thing I had the day off... I was warm and cozy in bed at 10am this morning when temps bottomed out at -40*...

After reaching a high of -5* in the early afternoon, we are heading back down for another night of -30* weather...

Word has it that there are a few more arctic fronts later on in the week...

So much for putting away my heavy winter jacket *sigh*

I peeked back at the boards on TWC... not really much going on there... it's too bad... a lot of folks here were pretty much the life of the party... and now posts on the TWC boards barely get responded to... *shrugs* I guess that's life for ya'...

StreetSoldier - I hope and pray that things start to look up for you and yours...

Rob - Hope that you'll be with us soon again... your presence is definitely missed each day that you're gone...

Everybody keep warm and dry... :D

I'll see you all later...

- gator.

Good evening to you, Wxbuddies! Sounds like
everyone has had quite a start on the week! What
IS it about Mondays, anyway?

Isobar, I'm with you on the sun - we just saw it,
today, after two weeks, also - it was a lovely site!

Streetsoldier, I hope tomorrow is a better day for
you and your's - and, scratch Annabelle's (she be
a HO!) ears for me!

Jacki, don't work too hard, now...

Everyone else, have a warm and peaceful evening!

well, the snowfell today...only giving us about 1" of the white stuff. This was a light snowfall...with light I mean the fluffy stuff that you can't make snowballs with. Very little moisture associated with the snow. I'm throwing a few logs on the fire that way us northerners can keep warm.

One midterm and quiz overwith and plenty more to go! Midterm on Wednesday and Friday, and quiz on Thursday, and ASVAB tomorrow...this will be a long week.

Gator...that's COLD! Yikes.

Does anyone know what Crouton has all over his mouth? My suggestion is KK's, but its pretty hard to tell.

I got about an inch of fluffy stuff also! However, I am prepping for what TWC just called a "semi-major snow event" tomorrow! Bring on the snow, I could use a day off! It's been a week now, sheesh! On a brighter note, my friend took me to Bingo tonight and she won and even gave me some money, woo hoo, not broke anymore! (Still looking foward to payday tho!) Y'all have a good night now, ya hear?!
