Unfortunately the snow band that moved towards me split in two so I only got a brief snow/sleet mix. No accumulations but hey, it’s November!

Nice to see Oklahoma cash in early this season. Hopefully the next four months contain many nice surprises for Texas and Oklahoma. Louisiana too.

My local KWTV met has increased my snowfall totals to at least 1 inch.

We’ve gotten close a couple of times already but finally hit our first freeze last night around 11:20. Made it down to 27.1.

Got down to freezing before I was even in the freeze warning, so it’s nice to see things over performing.

Got down to 32.0 just west of 35W.

I think freezing starts at 32.9 since 32 is 32 but never can find an answer on that. Lol.

But we hit freezing with another bigger one tonight with the warning.

We are about 2 weeks early. I will take it!

Ha, that's funny. Another disappointing rain event. So tired of this crap.

Now you know what it's like for us NTX folks and trying to get a little snow. :ggreen:

Your area seems to be a cold spot. Other areas especially towards Dallas and the surrounding burbs don’t seem to be nearly as cold.

Got to 34 this morning, but already had freeze a couple weeks ago. I expect mid 20s tomorrow morning. Plenty more freezes to come this week.

We tend to be much cooler than even the airport here in north Tarrant during early freezes.

The 109s and 116s felt like just yesterday. We made it!

It feels glorious to finally get past the brutal summer! But we've had a true fall season for the first time in a while, what does that mean?

I’ve heard that the beginning of December it could turn colder again.

After the record -EPO episode there will be some moderation for 1-2 weeks but it's not some kind of warm spell. Moderation being key word. MJO is looping back to 6-7 in high amplitude. December is going to turn cold again just like how we just swept through those phases. AO and NAO may take over. It is that kind of early winter.

When in December? I have strong plans of doing the (annual) Christmas Trip to Missouri in Mid to Late December.

I'm thinking it turns after the first week. There will be much colder air by that time to work with.

Thanksgiving week isn't a shoo in for mild either.

Ntxwx, I think a moderation would be good, but hopefully it doesn't last too long lol. I just don't think the ao/nao will be much of a factor unless a ssw happens imo. I believe mostly pacific driven if we get cold. IF we get the ao to go negative, going to be so barbaric cold for sure :double:

I hope it gets mostly out of here by the 3rd or 4th week of December, but it's too far out to be sure.
