The snow has transitioned back into rain, but it appears there is more snow coming because the temperatures are now dropping.

Absolutely nothing so far. Gahhh!! Lots of precipitation I just need some heavier rates to cool the column.

Still unfortunately doesn't look like there'll be any more snow possibilities until after Thanksgiving.... There was Saturday but models completely died on that one though

Don't use my posts as forecast, I'm a complete meteorology noob! I just like cold weather, alright?

All observations I post are for Temple, Texas unless otherwise stated.

But not before downing a six pack with his ex lover in the car.

Man, this has got to be one of the most frustrating setups. Everywhere around OKC is getting some form of snow but the heat island has us about 2-3 degrees too warm and we have been stuck with a snow/rain mix for the last 4 hours. No dry slot really to be found, as it’s been pretty steady, but the freezing line won’t budge and the precip rates aren’t as high as they need to be to drastically cool the column.

The GEFS is still open to the idea for snow for Oklahoma and Northern Texas on Thursday-Saturday.

Tulsa added a slight chance of snow to my forecast Friday

As for tonight... I'll be amazed if I even see flakes at this point. Warm air killed this storm. The fact it's still raining in OKC yikes. Really disappointing after all those good model runs we had

There has got to be better setups later...

Mine got taken off for now, but they have mentioned this

High
temperatures in the 30s deg F are expected Friday afternoon behind
this boundary. There is the chance for some light snow/flurries
in the post-frontal air mass Friday into Saturday--especially
across the northern half of Oklahoma.

It's still snowing outside, it has covered all of the ground except the roads and driveways.

With the event winding down, the heat island strikes again. Finally got the temperatures to 35 and of course, we had big wet snowflakes for about an hour. No accumulations to report in south Norman. If the temps had gotten down to 34 overnight as forecasted, we most certainly would've cashed in with 2-3 inches, as the precipitation was pretty consistent from 11 AM all the way until now. Pattern looks good for the winter though so I'm excited!
