Wind is whipping with some sideways light snow here at Amon Carter Lake. Currently 17 degrees.

The Snow Squall Band has changed direction to a more southerly component and it's heading towards me, I can hope I can take a video for it if/when it gets to me! I have never experienced a snow squall before.

Yeah Friday could be sunny in the mid 20s in the middle of the afternoon. Crazy cold air mass. Too bad it isn't longer duration.

Blew through my neighborhood in North Dallas at 8:32. Temp at that time was 45.7. Will be fun to see how quickly it drops. I feel bad for the neighborhood yard crews trying to blow and mulch leaves right now. They're fighting an uphill battle!

There's definitely light snow bands deeper within the cold around N and NW TX. Abilene 16F with light snow and less than 2 mile vis.
