Nice complex came through overnight. Over an inch in north Tarrant! Yes! Rained for hours.

Yes, likely a crazy rainstorm/severe storm event in Texas and Oklahoma from this.

The lowest ever is -85.71 from June 1997, I'm putting that in as a reference.

Another early am system rolled in with some good thunder and rain. Not sure how much fell but it was pretty wet out this morning @ 6am. The rain I received early Tuesday am wasn't as heavy, nor was it in the forecast as that system was expected to die out before ever getting into NTX.

I am off Basswood and 35, but just to the northwest around Eagle Mountain they had 2 inches per radar estimates.

By now usually the Sonoran heat ridges likes to make a presence but has not been this late Spring. We likely won't see much in the way of cockroach heat ridges this summer just your normal heat with bouts of disturbed weather. Might even have a shot at some unusually cool periods whenever the PACNW ridging pops up.

Should we expect the ridge to hang around Alberta/PacNW region for the bulk of summer? Ensembles are showing return to the ridge in C Canada. This is all very good news for Texas.

Yeah, at least the Cockroach Death Ridge is not showing up here anytime soon. Last year, it was already here! I hate Summer 2022, it was horrible

What NTX will see are the random pop-up showers mainly due to the humidity some poskets of rising air, just summertime late afternoon showers.

Well, they really need the rainfall, so this is something they really need.

Also, active Complex that went through San Angelo is moving SSE, may miss San Antonio to the west.
