I’m quite surprised that Mawar has managed to finally clear out that giant eye while being in a less conductive environment than when it was undergoing that supposed eyewall meld. Maybe it could briefly regain Cat 4 status in the next 6-12 hours. Upwelling should start having a noticeable effect soon.
