Plus: I got a little rain, .05. It has cooled to 83 and 90 heat index. Yay!

Con: I assume north wind means outflow is here, so wave bye-bye to more substantial rain tonight. Enjoy Abilene.

But, hard to complain about a cooling surprise storm.

A gorgeous Pittsburgh evening with a temp of 69 degrees and 52 degree dew. A light breeze also. I am flying home tomorrow and I can't figure out why.

...A TORNADO WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 830 PM CDT FOR NORTH
CENTRAL DICKENS AND SOUTHEASTERN MOTLEY COUNTIES...

At 818 PM CDT, a confirmed tornado was located 6 miles southeast of
Matador, moving southeast at 20 mph. Structure damage has been
reported in the City of Matador. The tornadic circulation continues
over rural portions of Motley county east of Roaring Springs.

HAZARD...Damaging tornado and baseball size hail.

SOURCE...Law enforcement confirmed tornado.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is
likely.

Locations impacted include...
Matador and Roaring Springs.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

To repeat, a tornado is on the ground. TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a
basement or an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy
building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a mobile home, or in
a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter and protect
yourself from flying debris.

Heavy rainfall may hide this tornado. Do not wait to see or hear the
tornado. TAKE COVER NOW!

Dickens, moving southeast at 25 mph. Travelers should avoid highway
82 between Dickens and Guthrie.

HAZARD...Damaging tornado and baseball size hail.

SOURCE...Weather spotters confirmed tornado.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is
likely.
