Prayers coming forth from me for all. :)

I need to add my pastor's wife to this as well. She has breast cancer. She is already undergoing treatment.

As of Dec 23rd, my step-dad is without a job. Right around the holidays too! :( As of right now, we are praying that he will be able to transfer departments. They are cutting anyone with less than 27 years seniority!!! He's currently sitting at 24 years...almost 25 years.

The paper industry around the Valley is horribly cutting jobs, closing plants, etc.

Well.......here I am "AGAIN" asking for prayers on my behalf, dang, this has BEEN a YEAR for me that's for sure! As y'all know, I was diagnosed with Degenerative Disk Disease a few months back.....I can bend over to tie my shoes, blow my nose, cough, sneeze whatever and it goes out. Last evening I was working in my woodshop, I'm making a corner shelf out of oak, needless to say, it's kinda heavy, ANYWAYS....I bent down to pick it up to set it on the work bench to stain it then "BAM"......Michelle carted my off to the ER, it was that bad, had a shot of Morphine with a muscle relaxer in it too, needless to say, I barely remember coming home "LOL!"

So if you would, whisper a little prayer for me would ya?

Dennis - you got it! I know it must have been bad if you needed Morphine! Don't you hate it when your body just doesn't want to cooperate like it always has or should? I hate getting old......I steamed cleaned our carpets, 8 rooms, last December. To save a few $.....ha! Long story short, I ended up with a very painful tennis elbow. Should have traded hands/arms to do the entire job but didn't think about that until I was in pain. Told hubby this year we are hiring a company to come clean - I will not do that again! Oh no. Took 3 months to finally clear up. Took lots of Motrin and rested it and it finally went away. Nothing compared to your back pain though, yikes. Can only imagine the pain you're in today my friend. Hope you feel better soon!

I need to add my Aunt Kathy to this list. She had a hysterectomy, an appendectomy, and another surgery all done this morning. I may go visit her tonight, but I do ask for your prayers...thank you...

You guys, I think I'm going to cry...

I can't go to see my aunt b/c 1)my sister's being selfish and 2) my parents can't physically lift me.

The second reason is legit, but the first, well, her boyfriend can drive me home, but he CAN'T drive me 15 miles to see my aunt??? What a crock!!!!!!!!!!! :bcry: :bcry: :bcry:

I just talked to Kathy...she sounded like she had a cold, but with the medicines they use to put you to sleep that is expected...they expect she will go home tomorrow night, but I don't know yet, more info tomorrow about 3...
