I'm watching, but it looks to me as if I'm in the clear for another hour or two.

Not bad here yet - I'm on the East side - most of the weather is happening on the west side - it will eventually move to me. I'm in chambers county so if anyone hears anything - please post.

Thanks

Torrential rains(3.52"/hr rate), lightning, thunder, winds gusting around 30-35 mph estimated. Rough on the west side and there is a tornado warning for a cell coming in from Sugar Land right over me and Garnet and my house too!!! No apparent twister yet!!!!! Definitely nasty weather though and they say the bad stuff is supposed to hit this evening???

Wow Garnet and David - sound like some powerful storms - yeah this morning they said the storms won't be here until this evening - but what's new....keep in touch and stay safe.

I'm down in the dungeon here at work - so I don't know what the weather is like....unless the lights go out.

Tornado on the ground as reported by Garnet!! I could pick it out on the radar. It is SW of me and hopefully my house where my wife and son are now!!!! Reports of numerous overturned vehicles in SW Houston near Airport and SW FWY. ALL HOUSTON AREA POSTERS STAY ALERT AND TAKE COVER!!!!

Ticka it looks like it may bypas you to the NW. Just looked at radar again. This particular cell is gonna miss you Ticka. It is raking the NW side now, just to my NE(over my house). I think(hope) the twister is gone now. I don't see an indication on radar.

If you look on the radar link above you can see the obvious hook moving right into Houston.
