VB, OG, and all -- please report back as soon as possible.

Sugarland, Eldridge, and Dairy-Ashford areas have alot of debris, according to the radio.

Nothing to report from Galveston since it looks like we're still waiting for the storm near Victoria to head our way. Slow-moving...

Another rotating cell is SW of Houston is moving to the NE...this one has a well defined couplet on the Radial Velocity display and will be entering southern Fort Bend county in the next 10 minutes....could straddle the Brazoria line if it has any rightward component to its movement...Could be affecting Houston within an hour..

I'm here and will be here unless the Heights area (I10 and studemont) falls into the path. My husband is in the Gallaria area... and my home is in Bellaire- which some forcasters are taking the southern tornado though on it's way north east. I'm scared...

Off-duty Bush Intercontinental Airport employee reports seeing tornado touch down near the airport moving NW @ 20 MPH.

Am I smoking crack or something? 59 runs east/west (Except that little chunk in the center of town)... how can something be west of a line going west?

And trust me- if I'm in the threatened area *Laughs* Yall are going to be the LAST thing on my mind.

(And Harris county is massive- we'll take cover if the storm gets any worse but we're not in the path of anything yet despite the warning)

It looks like flooding will become a problem for SE Texans. They've already had several inches of rain and the new houston/galv. discussion indicates the possibility of 10-15 inches of rain :eek:

Nothing bad in Beaumont yet but we're under a Flood Watch and Tornado Watch through tonight.

Ya'll stay safe over there!!!!!!!! Take cover when there's a tornado warning...you don't want to take any chances.

A quote from the Lake Charles NWS last night:

59 pretty much runs SW to NE (Except that little chunk in between 288 and 610, which runs east/west). :wink:

We have been evacuated into the building for the rest of the day...God that was so scary....we are flooded in the school..have to wade out to my portable to get my stuff....my friend called me about the tornado in meadows..she was just coming out of her closet when news said it was heading my way....the office called and said to evac all portables and get in secure locations...the wind and rain was going in all directions and it was some sort of funny bownish color outside...I will never make it home tonight...we are completely flooded *sob* This is not a good day....

It unfortunately is training over us! Lookslike more on the way. We have had over 3" so far in the last hour or so and it is not stoppping. It gets slower and harder. etc., but no complete let up. Checked with the house and all is well so far if you discount the fact they are flooded in and can't get out. If my cell rings again I'll jump out of my skin because that will probabluy mean the water has gotten in the house. Hope my measures to deter it are working!!!!
