Re: Tropical Wave near Cuba/South FL - May Develop in the GOMEX Next Week
It's starting to look a bit more interesting on radar, but still has a ways to go

This is probably going to turn north. Can't wait to see what this looks like Monday morning after slowly moving across the GOM.

Can’t go north! And will be speeding along the winds from the easterlies
wish it would come in around San Antonio bay Texas so everyone along the Texas coast could get rain

Moving at a decent clip tonight too! NWS Tampa has my high of only 89 in Punta Gorda. I'm thinking more like 93 and hot and steamy in the afternoon if this passes sooner. Will be very sticky with full sun out.

It will be inland into Texas in 48 hrs. Not a greater chance of development beyond 48 hrs.

Time for this TW to become 91L, coming together this morning with a fairly good vorticity and sharp trough axis.

My weatherbug app took the 30% chance of rain off the forecast this morning for me in Splendora, Tx. -removed- for any scraps I could get.
