With Emily today, August has had one NS. Based on the well above normal # of systems that are candidates for TCG, folks with 3+ have the best shot with 5-6 not out of the question.

Well I thought I submitted a prediction, but I definitely wouldn't have picked 0 this season since last year we had 0. Having 0 storms is not common in August.

I could not pick either, I would have guessed 4-5 storms.

Well the last option of 6 is hit now with Jose. 94L probably won't form in time, but it'll make September start with 1 pretty quickly. Pretty amazing that even around the 15th it looked unlikely to go even half that far.

Incredible reversal from last year's August, even with the first half of August making people doubt the entire season.

I remember when I voted for 6 or more, then I looked at the results and discovered I was the only one who had picked that option up to that point. I thought I was being too aggressive.
