It is coming right up I-10 from your SW Kellly. It will be on the NW side of the city if it is on the ground! Please check in after it is over!!! I can see the hook on the radar so there is at least a chance that there will be a twister. BE SAFE!!! WE'VE GOT YA COVERED IN PRAYER!!!

here is the radar. hard to pick it out now, which could be good.

may be over East Beaumont already, but there is another cell coming up I-10. Then it should settle down for you.

Looks like the first possibly tornadic cell has moved over but there's another "hookish" looking cell about to move right over Beaumont again. My prayers are with you Kelly, post when you can to let us know your're ok.

I just read the New Orleans NWS discussion and they are comparing this event to November 21, 1997. Well on that day a tornado struck Lafayette damaging about 40 homes, and it was only about 2 miles from where I lived at the time! Geez, I can't sleep tonight!

Well we dodged the bullet, so speak. I actually slept through the squall line which came in about 5am...the storms were strong but nothing severe. We did pick up 2" of rain which was badly needed.

It was quite a night last night, tornado warning coming out right after the other and I was afraid it would be the same in my area but the storms called down some. Good to hear that all S2K posters are OK.
