I have whatever is there when I get to KY. I don't do a tree here since my place isn't big enough for any major Christmas activity. And I'm just not yet accustomed to the warm weather during Christmas. It doesn't feel right here. Gives me the bah-humbugs. But by the time I get to KY, I'm ready and totally in a Christmas mood.

fake...first ever...bought it after X-Mas last year at half price. Its got frosted tips that look like snow. I was getting tired of the yearly trip to Christmas tree town for the endless hunt for the perfect tree. Then the dissapointment of getting home, rigging it up, and hearing nothing but complaints about how bad the tree looked.

Derek - You are correct regarding the true meaning of Christmas. But a Christmas tree is such a tradition in my family, and decorating one each year reminds me of how close my family used to be during the holidays. So for me it is a way to keep great childhood memories alive, rather than an actual representation of Christmas.
