This summer was a beast, one of the all timers and relentless from start to finish. We all know the pendulum will swing at least to the wet side if not cooler than normal.

Yeah it's definitely better than it was... I mean we haven't had a real heat index all week it seems. It seemed like the 110-120 heat indexes were never gonna end last week so we are making some progress and like I've said before eventually climo is gonna win out. I figured September would start off rough anyway(record high is 109!) And also because of some of the analogs I just wish there was some rain more than anything

Haha I agree with this. I mean everyone was saying back in May it would turn out to be a wet summer. Nope, we all got that wrong. And back then I didn’t hear a one person say that El Niño doesn’t impact our weather during the summer but for the past month or so those comments have been out in full force.

We had to pay up for the 2020 and 2021 mild La Nina summers. The clock was ticking.
We're going to have a party when the first big front comes with heat miser as a pinata.
