I actually wish I could have fast food more often. As I had said before... my parents (especially my father), cannot eat fast food too much. I have no way to get to them, even though they are not too far from here.

I could use the golf cart to get to them, but my parents (especially my mother) think it's too dangerous with all the traffic in this community.

The thing I like about the SBD is it is, at least to me, an easy lifestyle change. It is pretty strict in phase one, but you can slowly add things back in during phase two, which for me may go on for years, but it is not a diet that totally denies you different things like some diets do.

I haven't even heard much about that diet, all I did to change my eating habits, was follow my mom's diabetic diet! Hey, it worked!

For everyone that is on a restrictive diet, are you taking a daily multivitamin? If you're not, you should look into it.

The excercise part is the tough part for me too. I am pretty lazy (LOL). How have you gone about incorporating excercise into everyday life? Have a set schedule for it? Start out slow and work your way up? Heck, what kind of excercises are you doing? Thanks!

I am lazy too, that's part of my problem. I used to be 230; then I gained 15 lbs back. I need to get out more...

I am in. I am 225 and would like to be around 190 by my birthday, April 24. Tom, a good way to gain weight is to marry a woman who knows how to cook. :P

I have no where to go, so I should technically be gaining weight sitting around online.

I am not going to get married, so that even if it had potential isn't a possibility.

I think I'll get married someday, not sure yet though.

I'll weigh in on Wednesday this week, then Tuesday next week. Hope I've lost at least a tiny bit. :-?

I have weigh-ins on tuesdays and thursdays with each plasma appt. I've noticed that my weight is dropping :D a couple pounds here and there! :D Because of my step-dad's heart stint, my mom is watching the food intake of everyone in the house. We are eating healthy (hardly any junk food in the house)

As for weight strengthening, I purposely bring my laptop to school that way my backpack will be heavier....gaining those muscles in my back and legs....even walking up and down the stairs too. Surprisingly in my arms too, because I can't drop my backpack with my laptop in it (bad choise to do so) Walking from 1st to 3rd floor (in my case) on a daily basis really strengthens those leg muscles.

I am not an outgoing person, so I am not going to meet anyone. It isn't that I don't want to... I know that I will not be doing so; thus the choice is ultimately not to.

Yes, I live in The Villages, FL with my parents. It is a great place, although we don't do as much as we should.
I knew I had reason for putting The Villages, Florida latest temperature in my signature. :D Stormy, I hope you parents enjoy it here. :)

"Taunton, MA" is the National Weather Service office that is approximately 10 miles west of where I used to live in southeastern Massachusetts.

One of my uncle's (my mother's brother) and his wife are moving "down here" in several months.

I had a Vanilla Coke and M&M's an hour ago...and more M&M's this morning...I've gained 2 lbs. since this topic began...
