While recon has only sampled the SSW eyewall, it shows that Nigel has slightly weakened compared to last recon, likely due to the dry air entrainment earlier. Extrap pressure of 972.9mb is up from the last mission, and winds in the SSW eyewall peaked at 82 kt FL and 62 kt SFMR.
Edit: We finally got an NNE pass with 74 kt FL and 65 kt SFMR. Extrap pressure 973.8mb.
