Euro and Canadian are still on board. Also, the HREF looked pretty good and SPC puts a lot of weight on that. The American Hi-res models will also pull storms back West as the window to the event closes, so maybe we are still a go for DFW.

101 with a 110 or higher heat index I feel sick being outside all day this feels like it did in July. It’s been hot lately but it was dry this is unbearable.

101 but at least with the sun being at a lower angle in the sky, it doesn’t feel as brutal as 101 would feel like during July/August

I find it kind of interesting that we’re still experiencing SST’s at or exceeding 30 Degrees Celsius in the Western & Northwestern Gulf of Mexico going into the last week of September…

I wasn’t going to complain about 90s but it’s likely today we will reach 102-103. This sucks. Please make it stop.

And likely rain appears south of much of DFW.

Thankfully we are about to head into October where it is rare for the Texas coast to get hit by a tropical cyclone.

Euro Weeklies still show a cooler, wetter pattern coming up, and the CPC Dec-Jan-Feb forecast is currently normal temps with above normal precipitation. Hopefully, some of that is snow and not cold rain!

Larry Cosgrove shows monthlies not looking as good as they did a month ago. October still warm but probably a cooler second half.

November ok at least but it’s December that finally shows a real switch to El Niño. That’s a long wait.

It's always two months out.

I'd gladly pay you tomorrow for a hamburger today........

Well the TWC app does have somewhat cooler/more normal temps after the first couple days of October so far. Well see if it holds up. I'm not holding my breath but it has been showing up for a couple days now

Not seeing many rain chances though
