That is a shame because I liked all three of them.
I noticed that Dennis Smith was out last week - he does the morning Travel analysis. I was wondering what was up - I'll bet that was it!
The ONLY good thing they did was fire Lisa Mozer. Actually, I do like Alexandra alot better than Heather Tesche. Alexandra has a great personality, where I think Heather Tesche is rather stiff, IMHO.
Kelsa Kinsley is too painful to watch!

Among the three, Rick Griffin will be the one most missed. He has been on the most often, just about every weekend evening with Sharon Resultan.
I saw Marny Stanier a couple weekend afternoon's ago and Terri Smith was doing more "voice-over pictorial reports," if you will, lately. I haven't seen her on-air in over a month or two.

It is sad to see these pros get booted out for people like Kelsa Kinney....check this out from a newsroom BB...
Weather Channel traveling "Road Crew" hostette Kelsa Kinsly has reportedly hired Minneapolis matchmaker Global Love Mergers to find her a hubby. She's due to arrive in the Twin Cities today to record a videotape "audition."
According to Global Love Merger owner Kailen Rosenberg, "I'm not anyone someone can come to and say, 'I want to hire you; here's my check.' I turn more people away than I work with. Reason is, it's truly about the human being involved. How healthy are they? Do they even have a clue what a healthy relationship is? It's pretty darn in-depth. What I love about [Kinsly] is that she's sweet, cute, goofy, fun and kind of loud. She loves to pitch tents, and she loves to fish. She doesn't want a corporate suit. I'm excited."
Kinsly has appeared on "The X Files" and "The Sentinel" and was a Chicago traffic reporter before joining the Weather Channel.

It seems TWC is going for the "make the guys druel" look with the younger OCM's. But all to considered, I'm glad Lisa is gone....she' didn't know what states were which.....since when does north dakota belong in the SE US? As for the others, it is a sad day, terri and marni were excellent, very intelligent OCM's. As for rick, I wasn't really a fan of his....dry for late night shows (ie...he put me to sleep)

I'm one of the odd men out. I always liked Lisa, but had to watch weekly or she'd change her looks so much I didn't know it was her. I put up with her geography miscues, of which she had many, because I thought she tried to overcompensate by a good businesslike presentation. In the end, I suspect there was more than geography that got in the way of her staying.
As for the others, they know the rules of engagement in TV. Young, beautiful, engaging, almost perfect. Each had a nice run at a career on The Weather Channel...and each made a contribution worthwhile.
I suspect that almost every OCM that leaves does not miss the hectic pace or the expectations placed on them each and every day.
Who knows, maybe they all left because they were afraid of getting pregnant again! Except maybe Rick.
I'm half expecting the new girls to be donning maternity clothes from Vivian's shop any day now...and I don't even know if they are married!
