- Strong tropical storm ELEANOR continues to move away south of the Mascarenes while weakening.
- However, she slowed down her movement before starting a turn.
- With ELEANOR moving away, the sea state and weather conditions are improving on Mauritius and Reunion Island from this Friday.
- From Friday evening, ELEANOR should resume a trajectory towards the west-northwest while continuing to weaken. It will therefore be a very weakened system which will transit off the south of Reunion this weekend, without causing any significant deterioration in the weather.
- Subsequently, the residual depression ELEANOR will continue its trajectory towards the Malagasy eastern coasts before dying in the area of its birth!
