Yes!! Only at single digits now to open the poll.
Some may be asking, why the poll will open at 1 PM EDT? Is a Sunday and I go to church and after that, go to the supermarket.

For members who dont know this. The 2024 poll was originally going to start today, but decided to move the opening to March 10th to coincide with Daylight Saving Time, and the second sundays of march from now, going ahead, will be the oficial start.

You can feel it and can smell it and that is the poll
, that is almost here, and with the CanSIPS outlook out, more so. The NMME that will be up before the 10th, will add additional fuel to the anticipation for the opening of the poll.

And the thread of the poll is up but locked.
Notice that went to the number 200 as I expect a lot of participation in this year's poll. Let's get to 200+.

Re: The Storm2k 2024 North Atlantic Hurricane Season Numbers Poll Countdown
My first post here after a looonnnnggg time lurking... I am likely more knowledgable about weather and the tropics than 90% of the laymen population (people always ask me about the weather!) but I'm likely in the bottom 2% of the knowledge pool here, so for the most part I'll stay in the background and avoid putting too many feet in my mouth...
As for the poll, I'm planning on participating, it does look like it's going to be a rough season for all of us south of the Virginia/NC border (I'm in Jacksonville, FL). I have my numbers in mind, and will add them when the polls open, likely on Monday... 200 here we come!

When the poll opens on Sunday, let's be calm when posting the numbers and not be like a swarm at the same time. All will be added in the order of the posts and there will be plenty of time to post the numbers until May 31rst at midnight EDT.
