Super crisp updraft and anvil against a cloudless blue sky. Too bad it's so hazy, or that would make for some great pics.

It formed just to my north and east. Watching it move east from my backyard is pretty cool. Getting ready for some grilling. Happy Memorial Day everyone

Did the MCS trajectory change? Looks like SPC and NWS says it will be south of DFW tomorrow.

That Roanoke storm looks intense. Bit of a hook look.

Looks like it's chasing an outflow boundary. If that hook catches up with the boundary, then look out.

Y'all in DFW can blame me. I'm trying to fly back from Omaha. It's like a tradition for storms and delays.

That storm looks like a beast and it's headed straight for GP. Not good with the grill going.

Lots of 1.50 - 1.75" hail reports coming in with that storm.

This one looks like a roof replacer for sure. I'm sorry to everyone who is getting hammered right now. Get ready for those annoying door knocks starting tomorrow.

Ntxw wrote:I don't think much will happen today. Just hot and extremely humid for most. A few storms may try along the Red River and southeastward but not a lot of mechanism for lift. Tomorrow will be an MCS type system coming from the NW, with such high DPs should be proficient rain producers.

Well we can’t be right 100% of the time

Meanwhile here in Tulsa I never saw a cloud in the sky all day and for the first time this year it felt like everyone was in the pool  definitely the first time I've felt like summer is upon us

Although supposedly we're going back to a stormy pattern later this week... I mean the derecho last year was Father's Day
