Looks like it's going to be a stormy night across NTX given the way radar is evolving.

Surprised there was enough oomph left for storms to fire locally.

3.27" of rain here yesterday. We have escaped the majority of last night/this morning's round, with only 0.12" today and I don't expect much more.

I'm looking forward to a drier weekend and next week... I haven't been able to mow and my lawn needs it badly.

8 inches for the month IMBY. I know stopping means 100+ heat indexes for months.

But, I’m about to cry uncle as much as I love rain.

11.80" IMBY North Dallas. At this point nothing is soaking in anyway. 100% runoff. But we're almost double YTD where we were at the end of May last year. I know it won't stop summer entirely, but at least it should stave off the 2' deep cracks in the ground we had last year starting in July.

My rain gauge is broken, but we got hammered again overnight. DFW airport has missed out on some of the bigger totals but is still running Top 5 wettest YTD!

Only 0.25 inch in SA this morning...some things never change. Just depressing how the same areas keep missing out. Less than 1 inch for May. Glad other areas have gotten a lot of rain but unfortunately the area that needs it the most keeps getting unlucky.

2024 will end up being the 5th warmest Spring in record for DFW, warmer than 2022.

This will, BTW, be without a single month in Met. Spring making the top 10 warmest list.

I keep having the same issue, the squall lines jump to the south before they could reach me

While not to the same extent as the lows, the highs have also been fairly elevated in their own right. The average maximum will end up a respectable top 20 warmest.

Actually, my numbers are off. The data set that I used only went back to 1970.

Okay the rain has gotten ridiculous. Storms in southern Denton County (Roanoke) has dropped another 1.35 this morning. We’re now at 6.81 inches for the week and 32.79 for the year.
