You can see the llc just off of Manatee County on the local radar. Poor Sarasota getting pounded with rain.

LLC developing but shear won't allow it to develop and stack. We will have to see what it does once into the Atlantic.

I'm hoping Invest 90L is the only storm we see in this area for the year. I'll be traveling to St. Pete Beach for a conference at the end of September, right in the peak of storm season. If this rainmaker clears things out for the season, I'd be thrilled. However, knowing this year's unprecedented tropical forecast, I've advised the conference organizers to have robust contingency and emergency plans in place.

Is it possible that this could form?
Welcome! Enjoy the great minds here. THey can and will teach you much.
This particular system isn't promising to strengthen. At least not until it get out of FL and into the Atlantic Ocean. No worries for a tropical system if you are in FL.
Further up the eastern seaboard remains to be seen, but I don't think anyone expects this to threaten any land masses seriously.
Just lots and lots (and LOTS) of rain so far!

Thankfully I’m in a landlocked area, but heavily weakened storms can come though.

Wish some of that rain would make its way into Manatee. Patiently waiting east of Palmetto

FFG is around 5 in Palm Beach County and 2 in Dade. PBC is getting hit hard this morning, so tomorrow, FFG will be around 2 or less for everyone south of the lake, which could be a big problem. 2+ tomorrow is in the cards for the West and East Coast. Fun times in Florida.

What is FFG? We’ve been getting hammered with rain here in Stuart today. Endless downpour and thunder
