At least that's what some unfeeling males would say... Yes Dear! I'll be right there :-)

'Behind every good man is a good woman", huh?

There's an ancient Mongol saying that should speak to this one...

"Nine times of ten, she who rides behind plots against the one ahead."

Keep her in FRONT, where we can watch her! ( | ) ( \ ) ( | ) ( / ) ( | )

Well if it wasn't for women - men would be LOST - because they never stop and ask for directions :-)

So point taken - women know where they are going and how to get there..LOL

So true Ticka! Have I ever been embarrassed to ask for directions? Never! Saves so much time just stopping and asking that simple question - can you tell me where this is? A major difference between the sexes.

This reminds me of that funny Home Improvement episode where Jill and Tim are traveling to a wedding reception. It's snowing. Traveling on I 75 I think, going from MI to OH. He made a wrong turn getting back on the highway, after asking for directions once a local 7/11. Maybe it was Jill who asked......they keep traveling and get lost once more. He stops at another 7/11 to ask for directions and as soon as he shakes the snow off of himself and looks up, it's the same clerk. They were back in MI, not OH! They were really lost. That's a hilarious episode. I think they fooled around in the car too, Jill's dress was all wrinkled, slip hanging out or something. Anyone remember this episode? Wait, she was changing in the car, b/c they were running late. That's it - she got her dress all messed up and a cop nearby in the 7/11 said - uh huh, mmmm, what were you two doing? LOL

Mary - who always asks for directions or gets them ahead of time, no blind traveling for this Storm2K member!

I say, instead we just let the men have the babies and fend for themselves after the delivery. That might sting a bit.

Men don't ask for directions... the woman, however, peeks out the passenger side window and yells .. "Look, he's an idiot, which way is it to ... such, such street (insert the street you're looking for here)..."

face it fellas... no winning in this one. we wage wars because of women. nothing brings a man to his knees quicker than a woman; even faster when she knees him in the pants! p

I learned long ago ( it took two marriages) to just say "YES DEAR" and avoid the fight I couldn't hope to win :-) 17 years this time so I must have finally figured it out ;-)

Marshall - can you share this wisdom with my husband? You see this is his first marriage but clearly from the get-go he's been in charge. I get my way too, but it's more like 80/20. LOL Kids know it, I know and Jim - well, he loves it. His sister has hen pecked her husband into one wimp of a man. We all say it's her way or no way at all. She takes trips with other friends/women, shopping sprees, bachelorette type trips, he isn't allowed to do anything like that. He has no personal friends, just the friends (other wimped out husbands of her friends) he's permitted to chat with at get togethers. It's very sad, to say the least. So Jim is always telling me - I will never live like that. Is that what you want Mary? I quickly say - oh no, I'd never be like that (Debra Barone type from Everybody Loves Raymond), but I would like it to be 50/50 - that would be nice. LOL
