I am a bit disappointed the hurricane lacks a face (the clouds have faces, what were they thinking?!) but I do like how the hurricane just kind of comedically slurps up the ocean. It reminds me of when I was in 7th grade Texas history and the teacher compared hurricanes to someone who wins a hot dog eating contest but then goes somewhere else and just pukes it all out.

What all this leads me to conclude is a) Hurricane Harvey's stomach can hold 27 trillion gallons (metaphorically speaking) b) we are very fortunate hurricanes only get their energy from warm water and not by, I dunno, eating people.

When the cumulonimbus showed up and the kid just stood out there and opened up his umbrella I wanted to yell at him "Forget the umbrella....TAKE SHELTER!" Probably because lightning freaks me out.

It’s not exactly the same, but in that story I posted earlier this summer Hurricane Carla reveals she is insecure about her large size and gets made fun of it by other hurricanes and even the Houston Chronicle wrote some insulting stuff about her in the 1960s.
