Update on my Aunt Judy, who is from CA btw Joshua(Pleasanton). SHE IS HOME!!! Still a lot of recovery ahead, but she is at least at home with her beloved dogs which will help her.

Adding your Aunt Kathy to the list Jeremy.

Dennis, we'll crank your section of the nightly prayers up a little more!!! I know about that back stuff too! Lately mine has been pretty good.*knocks on wood*

Awesome David :) I have an aunt Carol on the same side of my family who lives in Anderson (I'd have to look that up in the atlas, how embarrassing  ).

Well folks, you KNOW your getting OLDER when you crack 2 ribs and don't have a CLUE as to how you did it "LOL!" YUP....the results of my sawbones appt were 2 cracked ribs, not bad mind you, heck, no WONDER my back was killin' me! I swear to God, if it's not ONE thing it's ANOTHER!!!

I *think* I cracked them last week when I was building the new deck. I had to re plumb the hose bib.....the original was against the wall, well, the deck is 8 feet wide, so I had to extend the bib by that much. I was laying on my left side tightening the new connections, straining REALLY hard due to the tight space, I felt something *pull*....reckon that's what it was! ANYWAYS......THANKS!

I've got everyone else covered!!

A funny aside to your cracked ribs Dennis. I swear this is the truth!!!

Many years ago my Mom and Dad were at a party and someone told a joke. Mom was laughing so hard she cracked two of her ribs on the chair she was sitting in!!!   I would give a mint to hear that joke, or was it a few too many Martinis?

BTW, now directing that Dennis part of my prayers to those ribs.

Thanks for ALL the prayers and concerns...like I posted, this has BEEN the YEAR for me! A broken thumb 2 weeks ago and now the ribs?? It's a test I know. I'm finally able to sit a little longer but I still can't tie my own shoes, I feel like a little kid, Michelle has to tie them for me "LOL!"

Well guys, haven't had to call on the prayer warriors as of yet, but if I could get a few prayers for a friend/coworker of mine it would be greatly appreciated! My friend Amber lost her father yesterday to prostate cancer....

Sorry to hear that Jacki, prayers goin' your way.

I also have not been compelled to post on this thread, but some news I received recently makes me think now is a good time. My cousin who lives in Calif. was diagnosed with prostate cancer this past spring. He went through all of the treatments and surgury to help out the situation. It all seemed to be going quite well until recently. It has been determined that he now has stomach and lymph node cancer. Nothing can be done for him anymore. He is only 40 yrs old I believe. Maybe 41.

Prayer warriors, please pray for him in his time of need. God bless you all.

Thank you very much!! She's such a sweet girl, pretty heartbroken right now....she wants me to sing at the funeral!! I don't know if I should, I didn't know him, and only know one other member of her family.....I wouldn't feel right, but if she wants it and the family doesn't mind I'll do it.

Need to add two please. My boss, Stephanie has an infection in the bone in her leg, and will be out for 3 months, she is in much pain, also, my dear friend Margaret Rose has had *another* stroke and needs PT to make her foot work again.

All prayer requests have been lifted to God by me.
