2005 Atlantic hurricane season on Wikipedia
Hey Storm2k users. I'm trying to get together a task force of editors to get the articles of the 2005 Atlantic hurricane season improved by their 20 year anniversary. That includes giant storms such as Hurricane Katrina, Wilma, Rita, Stan, and Dennis, among a bunch of other storms. If you are interested, feel free to reach out to me here, or on Wikipedia at: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:2005_Atlantic_hurricane_season#20_year_anniversary_approaching_in_one_year_-_anyone_up_for_collaboration?

I’d almost be tempted if I had any clue how to edit, lol

Well you’re in luck, that’s super easy! First, you already know how to write in English, so that’s a plus. Second, there are thousands of articles that have been written over the last two decades, which makes for a pretty easy template to copy. For example, the main article for the season is already featured, so it shouldn’t need much work. However, some of the retired storms have incomplete or unsourced sections. Sometimes what’s needed is adding information, sometimes it’s adding sources, and other times it’s about copy editing and fixing what’s already there.
If any of that seems doable or appealing, feel free to reach out to me here, via direct message, or you can contact me on Wikipedia, I’m also Hurricanehink there.

2005 was the season for all seasons. Truly no other season has it all. Four category 5s, three among the deepest on record, two storms killing over 1000 people, a tropical depression hitting Spain, crazy stuff. What's needs to be fixed with the current article?

The current season article is actually featured, so that isn't in need of work. However, the various storms in the season have many issues. For example, this is what Hurricane Dennis's article looked like at the beginning of the month - https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Hurricane_Dennis&oldid=1238404940 - not the worst article, but far too short for such an important storm. My goal is to improve all of the storms to good or featured article status by their 20 year anniversary.
