Ernesto’s total ACE will end up ~15 or just under, which is near the 1991-2020 avg for a hurricane.

The warm moist air embedded within the circulation of ex-Ernesto will head towards the UK where it will interact with the western highlands of Scotland. UK Met Office have yellow weather warnings out for heavy rain tomorrow and Thursday across western Scotland, with up to 150mm of rain possible over some mountains, accompanied with 50-60 mph gusts.
