Milton has officially become a stronger storm than Michael was. Fingers crossed he won't be deadlier and more costly as well.

It would be hard for future Sara to top Sandy, but it's crazy to think that Sandy's daughter could potentially be another big storm for the season.

It's looking certain right now that Melissa is shaping out to be much worse than Michelle, she is forecasted to be a C5 monster making landfall in Jamaica as at least a high end C4. I am horrified for Jamaica right now, she could be Gilbert on steroids! I think at this point Melissa is already guaranteed retirement.

And Marilyn too, for that matter.

Marilyn, Michelle and Melissa: A family of three generations united by their hatred for the Caribbean islands, with greater ferocity (Cat 3 Marilyn with Cat 2 impacts, Cat 4 Michelle, Cat 5 Melissa).

Hope that trend doesn't continue or otherwise we should be REALLY worried about Melissa's replacement.

For real, holy cow!! Melissa also took a somewhat similar track as Michelle from 2001, aiming at Cuba.
Unfortunately, Melissa went absolutely nuclear and smashed into Jamaica at that strength... essentially becoming the Atlantic Haiyan, or the 1935 Labor Day's sister.
