Maybe my eyes are deceiving me, but it sure looks like Milton is losing some latitude over the past few frames.

The eye indeed seems to maybe move a hair south, but the general CDO is moving north slightly. Probably just wobbling at the moment, but everything can matter when it comes to a few miles.

The system seems to be rapidly intensifying now in the short term. I am honestly expecting it to return to cat 5 strength based on its current organization.

General knowledge tells me that stronger storms move more towards the poles aka further north. Is that also the case here or is it negligible compared to the other aspects determining Milton's path? Trying to understand how much we may or may not need to take into account that this exceeds short-term intensity forecasts.
