Nice, enjoy the more Fall like conditions! I'm assuming you're in the Central (or Western) Panhandle region?

Yes looks like maybe later this week into next weekend, some relatively cooler, continental air gets pushed down into the FL peninsula once the low (the area the NHC is monitoring for development) passes by (the ECMWF is looking better than the GFS which seems to hang back more moisture and showers for Southern Florida on NE windflow). If anything it should be breezy and feel more like October/Fall. So there is some relief on the horizon! (finally)

Re: Florida Weather
The 18Z GFS has mid 50s dewpoints incoming into South Florida later this week. That is going to feel great if it happens. Also the weather this evening has been wonderful, breezy NE winds and lower dew points, the coolest it has felt since last May. Certainty feels like we are moving into the Fall weather pattern here and soon end of the rainy season.

Re: Florida Weather
NWS Miami take:
For Tuesday and Wednesday, GFS and ECMWF remain in fair agreement
regarding the onset of a regional transitional pattern. A strong mid
level trough/low complex will deepen around the New England and send
an associated frontal boundary racing southward. Uncertainty still
remains on how far south the front will make it, but at least should
reach the southern tip of the peninsula. or even push past the
Florida Keys.
A drier/cooler air mass should follow in the wake of the FROPA. with
dewpoint values dropping possibly into the upper 50s to low 60s.
POPs will also decrease into the isolated range through the end of
the work week. Afternoon temperatures respond by becoming relatively
cooler compared to the previous two months, with highs in the upper
80s on Monday and Tuesday, then cooling into the low 80s for the
second half of the work week. But the forecast philosophy will
continue to evolve with each model run as the southward reach of the
front is adjusted.

Re: Florida Weather
Euro has caved into GFS. Many people will wake up in the 50's/low 60's Thurday morning across Central Florida!
This is good news for those still without AC or power!

GFS

EURO

NWS splitting the difference

I lean more towards the Euro because of the GFS's known progressive bias.

Re: Florida Weather
Was chilly this morning. Upper 50s in my region. Was breezy from the north all day. Appears the temps will increase in the coming days. Seems the rainy season has ended as well.

Re: Florida Weather
Seems the state has settled into a warm, boring period the last week or so and for the week to come. Boring is good after Helene and Milton but another cold front like the one we got a week after Milton would be welcomed - I'd like to see the high temps start with a "7" instead of an "8".

Would like to see some rain to test my patched roof to ease my mind that it is actually leak free.
Don't want another tropical system to test that out.

Ugh.
From the GFS MEX text output for the next week in Tampa:
FHR 24 36| 48 60| 72 84| 96 108|120 132|144 156|168 180|192
THU 31| FRI 01| SAT 02| SUN 03| MON 04| TUE 05| WED 06|THU CLIMO

DPT 62 61| 65 64| 66 65| 65 66| 66 68| 68 69| 68 65| 66
Highs in the mid-upper 80s, low in the low 70s - in November.
In other words, no cold front on the horizon, and hopefully nothing develops in the NW Carib gets drawn north as a result.

I agree, but something to watch just as well. Hopefully this broad low will remain just a low, and be nothing more than a rainmaker for the Forida peninsula, should it move towards Florida. Enough already!
