I wish. My NWS Melbourne office forecast for Longwood has temps about 10 degrees warmer than those depicted in your graph

Big cool down late next week according to the Global models, well below normal for a change.

:uarrow: Euro and ICON are not on board with such a cool down for FL late next week, they keep the Caribbean ridge strong.

It’s a strong high but the Euro seems to be caving to the GFS in the 12Z run bringing a chilly airmass into Florida next weekend. Also note the Euro AIFS is even colder than the GFS.

Yes it looked concerning for a couple of days with the reliable models showing a direct impact to South Florida, but looks like November climo won out.

The cold front has pushed through South Florida ushering in a very pleasant airmass and a nice NNE breeze off of the ocean. Next weekend looks to be even cooler. 8-) :flag:

ECMWF projections for this weekend. Something chilly is coming!

Climatology is average mid-late November low of 65 degrees for the said location, so we will be back above normal for the rest of this month after this cold front.

We went below 70 yesterday, felt like a polar blast with a wind chill.

Defensive posture established here in the Orlando area. Firewood, hot apple cider and large marshmallows to roast "at the ready"! :tailgate:
I sure hope the cool dry weather won't drive away the mosquitos though (said NO ONE :cheesy: )

The GFS is showing that cold after Thanksgiving, Typical bias for that model, we shall see if it actually pans out that way.

Unfortunately the Models were correct with this cold spell that will make it feel like January in early December.
The CPC 3 month outlook for 50-60% chance for above normal temps this winter looks very iffy at the get go.
Good news for the cold lovers here possibly.
