That EPO is crazy negative here, but it looks to be a quick shot of cold cuz I don’t see a -NAO here to lock it in.

The nao will be negative also
The NAO is already Negative. Golf.

Yeah, it’s definitely negative right now, but ensembles show it fading away in the medium to long range.

Not the EPS. The GEFS does though, but heck, that’s too far out anyway.

Cpv17 GEPS does as well, the nao will still be negative jsut not overly negative, im assuming their could be some progressive biacy with moving the cold air out too fast, i know the GFS is notorious for being too progressive

Forgot to post it this morning, but I’m pretty sure Temple received its first freeze of the season. I got ≈32 IMBY and Draughon-Miller got 33.1°. Essentially our average for the Nov. 14th-27th range.

Summer's for hibernation, Winter’s my vacation

Don't use my posts as forecast, I'm a complete meteorology noob! I just like cold weather, alright?

All observations I post are for Temple, Texas unless otherwise stated.

Oh I'm still skeptical on the snow front for sure especially but our met is sticking to his prediction of December 3rd so that's interesting

Still kind of early although it's happened before. It hasn't since I've been here... I didn't see even a flake til almost New Years last year

I hope it bodes well for our winter. I swear last year there was hardly any games like this.

Especially this part of the season.

The fact it's streaming and has HDR, it makes it look that much better.

It's doing those silver dollar flakes at the game. I take a good 8-10 inch snow and be content

I swear it just feels different this year... I mean Colorado has had three times as much snow as they usually do in November and it's not even over yet(another big storm from our Thanksgiving front)

I'm really hoping it's a good sign. I mean there were so many stories last year about the lack of winter and here it is the first time we even get sort of cold and we're talking about it. I mean as I write this Tulsa has still not had a freeze and yet everyone is talking about this pattern coming up

Best game of the season so far!! Gotta love snow games because there have been so few last couple of seasons.

I would definitely be enjoying that game outside :froze:

All aboard the chilly Thanksgiving here with talk about "even colder air" beyond that. Thanksgiving is already 10 degrees colder than today's highs in the 50s
