This map will change drastically by early next week. Snow cover line will come down to northern Oklahoma.

A slightly faster southern system will allow a better phase = more snow total for northwestern half of the state. Slower might delay or miss phasing letting it sit out there longer and you erode the cold but might be good enough for the southern half.

0z GFS comes out any way and is snowpocalypse where it's cold enough.

2 straight runs of fun for DFW on GFS. Long way to go though but there is a trend (on this model at least)

Holy cow the GFS is going crazy on the Kansas storm. Gives my hometown two feet! Would be unprecedented. lol.

Canadian is like ICON, plenty of snow for central, south central, and SE Texas.
