As long as those vorts keep digging west, we all have a chance.

The Sunday storm looks to lay down a heck of snowpack upstream. Hopefully it lingers around long enough to give the second front a little extra punch in north tx. One cold rain is all I can stomach.

Barring the cold leaving too quickly, but the snowpack to the north won't let that happen

January is definitely showing us the money if you're a winter weather lover.

If January does play out to be this active the carry over to February should linger into Valentine's Day.

I think Monday's models will nail down about 75% of the puzzle for NTX. I'm more intrigued with what the models are seeing in the long range. If this parade of systems and continued waves of Arctic air materializes then January may end up looking like 1977/78 and hopefully that continues into February.

Okay if the GFS does not win out for North Texas at this point and we get a dusting or nothing I'll never take that model serious again.

I mean it's been sniffing this out for like 300hrs and it's just juicing it up the closer we get.....

What the heck

Daily SOI has been running some negatives. Good sign for subtropical jet to wake up, espcially in cold ENSO.

Yup over 300 hours, and some of those runs were really good. It will be mind blowing if it verifies or close to verifies.

Look how juiced up the snow over Kansas and Missouri has gotten over the past couple days. That’s a sign that things are favorable.

Euro is refusing to trend south for this weekend's system

All it did was jump west

Yet, it’s the model that had such frigid temperatures several days ago, isn’t it?

I use Imgur most of the time, but you can also use ImgBB.

Post an image on either of those sites, and copy the image address. Press the img button and make sure there’s no spaces between (so like )

Summer's for hibernation, Winter’s my vacation

Don't use my posts as forecast, I'm a complete meteorology noob! I just like cold weather, alright?

All observations I post are for Temple, Texas unless otherwise stated.
