Mentioned this earlier. Storm clearing fast.

Come on transition! Been rain or sleet for past 3 hours on top of the 5” snow from earlier today. Snow melting pretty good with the rain. Waiting for it to transition.

35.4 and steady rain down here by the Austin airport.

Glad some of y'all are getting your fun. I'll pretend not to be jealous.

This is why I made comments earlier about at least the first round delivered. There is always some kind of twist, and it seems like it is just not switching over despite radar saying it is with the poster saying Brock is not snow still.

This will be over by midnight for the metroplex, extremely unlikely it continues through mid moring.

Radar says rain is approaching Denton county now. Now way the transition line makes it's way to GP before the storm exits. And that's ok. We got moisture and I do believe more moisture with better Arctic air is in the future.

I mean, I am happy with the storm. I just promised my wife we would have more heavy snow to look at this evening. She was bummed when it switched over.

DFW should see at least a few hours of snow later tonight, likely dropping a few more inches. Don't give up hope yet my friends.

This has been terrible in Arlington. Sleeted for a few hours and covered the ground, and since then it's rained all afternoon. Almost no snow. Nothing kids can play with. Absolute fail of a storm up to now.

I got it set up for night, so feel free to peek in and see if I'm getting snow later.

Accuweather forecast radar has a rain/mix continuing for most of DFW through at least 8pm.

Yep. Been mostly rain for 1-2 hours. We don’t have kids at home to be disappointed anymore. Otherwise I’d be being bombarded with “why is it raining?”

This storm has been the anti-Feb. 2010.

Time for Spring/Summer!
