Ok, I didn’t think so. Sometimes it runs faster than others. Thanks

I think this is the airmass that would be capable of suppression which lead to the south Texas/coastal storm that was on the euro yesterday. Hope it works out for y’all.

Looks like we had a second band roll through around 1AM, albeit small but still more snow.

I’m in Bonham tx in Fannin county and the roads are terrible. Still snowing lightly. Not for sure yet how much we got but I bet it’s somewhere between 8 to 10 inches. We got a lot more freezing rain than I had anticipated.

It looks like DFW ended up 0.2" shy of tying yesterday's snowfall record.

Re: Texas Winter 2024-2025
It looks like the totals are generally in the 1-4" range across DFW. Even the areas that seemingly saw more snow than ice/rain, with upwards of 1.5" of QPF, it appears the actual snow ratios were like 5:1 or even worse (and it rarely gets as bad as that).
Not technically a bust (barely), but these amounts ended up being on the far lower end of forecasts and the storm overall was fairly underwhelming considering not only the hype leading up to the event but also how extremely close this was to being a truly major (even historic) snowstorm.
That said, for those who have been pining for any type of snow and aren't used to this type of weather (I'm a Detroit native, so this does nothing for me excitement-wise), I hope you enjoyed it! Perspective is everything and I do understand any type of snowfall in this part of the country is at a premium.

4:20 a.m. and still have light snow falling in Sherman. What a great 24 hours for us! All snow with the exception of when we hit 32° for about 30 minutes and transitioned to sleet. Outside of that window we were at 30° for the entire event. We easily had 7 inches with the first wave, and then cashed in overnight with another 3-4 inches. Probably the second biggest event of my lifetime in Texas.

Probably around 4-5 inches here. Finally a storm that didn't have a snow hole too badly here

Yeah if you would have told me Wednesday we'd have 4-5 inches right now I'd say you were crazy
