Re: Texas Spring 2025
Yall stay safe up there in north TX. Nasty line of storms will be moving through DFW over the next hour or so. 70 mph wind gusts and isolated tornadoes will be possible.

I had a 45 mph wind gust, worst looks south of me. Stay safe!

My mom's house in Carrollton (GBTP and Kelly) just had a 51mph gust.
I have access to her weather station that I put on their roof.

The part of the storm iceresistance posted went right over them. It was south of 183 and gusted out with a NE jog.
That all happened very fast, roughly 20 minutes affair here.

It's still dark outside that photo's fairly lit. What's going on?

Nearly 300,000 so far (and counting) are without power across North Texas.

Odd thing, didn't see or hear much lightning/thunder with it when it came through.

It was probably going to be hard to hear the thunder with all the wind shear (similar thing happened with 5/28).
I did see a ton of transformers going in and out here though (frequent green flashes).

Re: Texas Spring 2025
Skies should clear out pretty rapidly just after sunrise, which will only give way to another burst of wind (thanks to daytime mixing + dry/cold air advection + the tightening pressure gradient) and haze/blowing dust from out of west Texas
